Simonds has provided high quality, state-of-the-art cutting tools for 175 years -
in fact, we're the oldest cutting tool manufacturer in North America. Simonds offers one of
the broadest and most trusted lines of cutting tools found anywhere in the world. Craftsmen
have grown to depend on Simonds for quality for good reason.
From construction of homes, buildings and factories to the
installation of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, the
building trades depend on Simonds products. Whether original construction or remodeling and
retrofit work, Simonds circular saw blades and power tool accessory blades are "on the
job".
Metal fabricators and welders focus on "non mass-produced" items - prototypes, parts
and components, support equipment, fixtures, and the like. They work with a wide variety
of materials and manipulate these over a wide array of equipment. And Simonds offers a wide
array of products to fabricators and welders, including bandsaw blades, power tool accessory
blades, files, welding magnets and magnetic tools.
Plants involved in virtually any activity that is related to the transportation industry
use saws or files in some area of their operation. From foundry to parts manufacturer
to final vehicle assembler, Simonds International has a wide range of quality tools for metalworking
as well as the "space age" composites used in today's transportation industry.
Around the world, factories making people move depend on Simonds International.
Furniture manufacturers, cabinet makers and general millworks plants convert lumber, plywood,

and factory. Simonds has been supplying products to these manufacturers for over a century,

entrepreneur. Our focus is on Yield Enhancement Solutions, helping our customers get the
maximum Yield out of their Manpower, Fiber and Investments. Our product range includes bandsaw

From tool & die shops to manufacturing plants that make finished products
of all kinds out of metal, metalworking is a major global industry. Metalworkers range from
those doing basic metalworking in small shops to those performing high-volume production
processes in major plants to those creating highly intricate and precise products, across a
wide array of secondary industries. For cutting, shaping and deburring, Simonds offers a wide
array of products to metal manufacturing facilities, including bandsaw blades, files, power
tool accessory blades and magnets and magnetic tools.
Whether manufacturing new pallets (from lumber
produced at on-site lumber mills or from purchased cants) or recycling used pallets, Simonds
offers industry-leading saw blades to help power your operation. From RedStreak to
PalletBuster and other related blade products, Simonds makes the cut!
A highly specialized form of lumber processing, where logs are turned
into decorative panelboard or thin veneer "finish" coats for use on furniture, in interior
decorating, etc., panelboard and veneer processors depend on their cutting tools. Simonds has
a long tradition in the lathe knife industry, supplying the highest quality products used to
slice logs into very thin sheets that are then applied on top of other materials for a
decorative finish.
Taking logs and turning them into pulp & paper is a huge industry. From
newsprint to fine stationary, paper is everywhere (despite the old saying that we live in a
paperless society), and paper plants are everywhere. And Simonds products are found
throughout the pulp and paper industry, from chipper knives to slasher saws and more, Simonds
saws and knives do the job!
From steel mills to steel service centers, steel processors of all
types depend on cutting tools like those made by Simonds. Any steel processor needing to
produce "cut to length" products can take advantage of the leading-edge designs
and high quality of Simonds bandsaw blades.
Tree care and tree service is the process of caring for
trees and cleaning up brush, and cutting logs into firewood. Typically, tree care/service
companies, or arborists, are as mobile as their trucks and the brush chipper they tow behind
them. They depend on cutting tools that won't let them down on the jobsite. Simonds helped
develop the first brush chipper knives in the late 1940's, and has been a leading supplier of
quality chipper knives ever since.
Woodchips find their way into a multitude of products, from paper to OSB
board to decorative landscaping materials. From woodchip processing mills process entire
trees to scrap processors, Simonds makes the waferizer and chipper knives processors have
grown to depend on.
